We have designed this class to fit the growing needs of puppies. This class is for puppies 3-6 months of age. In this class you will not only learn basic obedience commands, but will also spend time learning a variety of topics. Some of the topics covered are how to properly socialize your puppy, house-breaking, nipping, jumping, etc.
If you are having any kind of problem with your puppy, we encourage you to bring it up during class. Remember, if you are going through it, chances are someone else in class is as well.

Basic Obedience

Our Basic Obedience is designed for dogs over five months of age. The class will help you and your dog understand one another and strengthen your bond by working on obedience commands. Some of the commands you will be taught are; sit, down, stand, stay, come and walk on a loose lead. All exercises are taught on lead.
Our goal for our students enrolled in this class is to ultimately have a dog they enjoy having around the house. PLEASE NOTE: Safety is our top priority, therefore no aggressive dogs will be permitted in the class and all handlers must be able to control their dogs.

Advanced Obedience

This class is designed for dogs that have completed the Basic class. We take the commands that were taught in our basic obedience class and expand on them. Distractions will be added to each exercise. For those students who are interested in competing in Obedience events we also spend time on the more complex training exercises you will see in Competitive Obedience.
With the students hard work and effort they should be able to take and pass AKC's Canine Good Citizenship test.
